Maria is BEST KNOWN for Wolfgang Becker’s GOOD BYE LENIN!, Isabelle Stever’s PORTRAIT OF A MARRIED COUPLE, Julie Delpy’s THE COUNTESS and, most recently,Terrence Malick’s A HIDDEN LIFE.
Fun Fact, Maria is a NATIVE AMERICAN speaker. She moved to NEW YORK with her father, where she lived until returning to BERLIN for her training at the ERNST BUSH Academy of Performing Arts, from which she graduated in 1999.
